    Walt Disney World Guidebook

So you’re thinking about planning a Walt Disney World vacation? About a year ago I was in the same boat. I frequently visit Disneyland but had no idea where to even start in my planning process since it is so much different than Disneyland. I had read a ton of blogs and consulted friends that had previously visited but was still feeling a little bit lost.   Disclosure: Some of the links in this post may be affiliate links, meaning, at no cost to you, I may earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase. Perfect Purple Wall Mouse Ears

You can’t go to the Magic Kingdom without getting that perfect Instagram shot…at the purple wall! I’m not sure why this wall became such a social media phenomenon but I will tell you that it was crowded over there trying to get pictures! Knowing that I was going to venture into the Magic Kingdom I figured that I should 3D print myself some mouse ears for the occasion. I could have done a lot of different things but ultimately decided to print Cinderella Castle ears in lavender! I was not prepared for what would happen next…The ears were perfect – too perfect! In fact, the color was a match to…

Monetize Your Blog in 3 Steps

So you’re ready to take your blogging to the next level? Maybe you have a well-established blog or maybe you’re just starting out – either way it’s never too early to think about monetizing your blog. You may be wondering what the method to monetize a blog would be at this point. For me, I’ve found the most success with affiliate marketing. Essentially you provide links to different products and services that will give you a commission should your readers choose to purchase. That may seem easy enough but before you start throwing links out on your blog like crazy you’ll have to think about what you want to post.…

    Dole Whip Dreaming

So I’m currently sitting in a cold and rainy Los Angeles (in May! Why is it raining in May?!) and all I can think about is how much I want a Dole Whip from Disneyland. I usually don’t get Dole Whips in the park because the lines tend to be out of control but I saw a post on Instagram of one and now I just NEED one! Oddly enough I remember another rainy day – very rainy day…the day Disneyland had to close early due to flooding – when Randy saw the opportunity to get one with absolutely no line. Nothing like running around Disneyland in the pouring rain…

Must Have Disney Princess Spirit Jerseys

If you’ve been around any of the Disney Parks lately you’ve probably seen a ton of people wearing the Rose Gold Spirit Jersey or Millennial Pink Spirit Jersey. They’ve been becoming more and more popular in the parks and seems like they are definitely here to stay. Before it seemed like many of these were only available if you were visiting the parks but lately ShopDisney has been making more of the parks merchandise available online. Disclosure: Some of the links in this post may be affiliate links, meaning, at no cost to you, I may earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase. Your support…

10 Things from Amazon to Start an Etsy Shop

About 8 months ago decided to start my own Etsy shop. I had never taken on this kind of venture before but 700+ sales and 6k+ Instagram followers later I’ve learned so much about running an Etsy shop and maintaining a social media presence. (Btw – if you’re looking for tips on social media check out my post about what I wish I knew before I started running multiple social media platforms here and my post about favorite apps for running social media here.) I’m guessing you found this post because you’re thinking about starting your own Etsy shop and want to know what supplies you’ll need. If you have…

    What are Fantasy Pins?

Recently I discovered a new pin trend that has been taking over my entire Instagram – at first glance it appeared to be Disney enamel pins but at a closer look they are actually fan made pins! I am not an avid pin trader and don’t really think I will ever be so maybe I’m just a little behind on these trends. In fact, I own very few pins in general. I have a few from Jarrod Maruyama’s Kingdom of Cute Collection, an Oswald the Lucky Rabbit pin my nephew gave me, a Club 33 lapel pin, and a few random others gifted to me over the years. Besides that…

    Star Wars Accessories

It’s May the 4th and my social media is BLOWING UP with Star Wars posts! As a Star Wars fan I am totally loving it. Last year I went to a wine dinner for Skywalker Vineyards. I even Disneybounded as C3PO (and forgot to get a picture! I am still kicking myself for it!) I even wore awesome C3PO shoes from ShopDisney that I got a while back! This year is a little more low key for me so I’ve been living through all the fun Star Wars inspired posts and have spent the day working on my Star Wars Mouse Ears which has really put me in the mood…

    My “All the Rides” Checklist

After my recent blog post about doing all the rides in Disneyland in one day, I’ve gotten so many questions from everyone.  Questions like “Is that even possible?”, “How?”, and my personal favorite — “Why?”.  But one of the other questions I get is about how we managed to plan and keep track of everything on the day of. Since a bunch of people asked, I figured I’d share with all of you one trick we used to make sure we hit everything.  We came up with this half-sheet checklist to use throughout the day to make sure we didn’t miss anything.  (The mid-day heat has a way of making…
